Non-Executive Board mandates

I take on mandates as independent non-executive board member. I bring to the table a rare combination of foresight, strategy/business development and risk management underpinned by a strong financial acumen. In terms of dynamics, I contribute curiosity, diplomacy, ambition to do better and thought-provoking questions.

I offer this service to Swiss and international companies, regardless of their size and governance maturity level. I am  focused on financial services, real estate, clean energy and tourism but I am open to other industries, if my profile fills clear board competency gaps. To fulfill my Board duties at the highest level, I accept maximum four mandates per year.

Consulting services

Even the most experienced leaders benefit from a second independent opinion. This is what I offer. After understanding the case at hand, I share my honest assessment and the key questions that come to my mind. Corporates and individuals can approach me for a one-off question (e.g. how to deal with a letter from an activist) as well as for project-based engagements (e.g. process to define a new strategy, integration of acquired companies, etc.).

Year-to-date, my consulting projects have revolved around international growth strategies and innovation. With regards to one-off consulting sessions, they have been dominated by people leadership challenges. 

Start-up coaching

I admire people who have the courage to start their own companies hoping to make our world a better place for the next generation. I cannot replace the wisdom of a diverse Board of Directors, but I can lend my business judgement, experience and network to overcome the most frequent challenges faced by start-ups.



If you are a start-up struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel, dare to ask for my guidance. Conscious of your financial constraints, my start-up business coaching is remunerated by shares or success-based fees. To strike a healthy balance between long-term investments and short term financial needs, I coach maximum three start-ups per year.
